A MINDFUL AND EMBODIED APPROACH TO THERAPY
'And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.'

THERAPY FOR NAVIGATING A MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE OF LIFE
ABOUT ME
I came to Gestalt Psychotherapy in 2014 after a decade of working in child education systems. I have worked with children coming from a range of neurodiversity spectrum. During my experience, I learned the profound importance of creating an environment where vulnerability could safely unfold into strength for the purpose of growth unique to each child.
I noticed that, unconventionally, my mere presence and holding the space at times, was the only element that was needed for an organic learning experience to unfold. To be present as a teacher, not to force an agenda, but to be a supportive ally being available to respond to the little humans needs, yielded transformative results in my teaching experience. It allowed a healthy environment that was holding a balanced amount of challenge and support. That beautiful work naturally drew me towards learning more about the human experience and to psychotherapy.
After almost a decade of practice, I firmly believe that we are not meant to do all the processing on our own. Working with a trained and trusted facilitator will allow you to safely explore what is present (no matter how overwhelming, scary or confusing) in order to shift your experience and find your way into a life that feels more meaningful & authentic to you.
